The community layout draws inspiration from characteristics of the Tang Dynasty's Chang'an Palace by adopting a ceremonial central garden that extends from the main lobby through the community.  The services building and kindergarten are located to the east and west sides of the community echoing the layout of the east and west cities of Tang Chang'an.  The main entrance is situated at the southern end of the central axis inheriting the essence of the Danfeng Gate of the Daming Palace.

The buildings are organized vertically to provide access to a single home per floor ensuring maximum privacy for the homeowners.  This staggered arrangement optimizes 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

In urban design, the interaction between architecture and urban landscape is crucial, but the essence that people pursue is natural tranquility. The courtyard style apartment combines the elegance of a villa with the practicality of apartment living. The residential layout is centered around the family, connecting the living space with the aerial courtyard and strengthening the connection with the outdoor environment.

A commercial street along the main road offers convenience for daily life while separate from the private community space within.

The homecoming experience involves passing through nine ceremonial spaces, each representing a different scene.

The community’s design concept draws inspiration from the fluidity of water and the ephemeral nature of clouds, mirroring Chang’an’s eight rivers.  It captures a limitless spatial quality, reminiscent of clouds drifting across the sky symbolizing both water and clouds in architectural form.
