《Urban Revitalization and Old Building Renovation from an Operational Perspective》
Against the backdrop of China's urbanization shifting from increasing amount of construction to improving the quality of existing stock, enhancing the value of existing properties, urban organic revitalization has gradually become inevitable. Facing this new development trend, real estate developers cannot replicate the previous rapid rolling development model and must instead transform their development mindset, deeply study cities, revitalize existing assets, balance various interests, and establish a win-win mentality. This necessitates a transformation towards urban operations for developers. The significance of urban operations lies in continuously generating topics and values, maintaining attractions, and enhancing value over an extended period. Using our company's urban revitalization projects as examples, this article explores how, guided by an operational mindset, we introduce multidimensional design concepts, integrate multiple design departments, create scenario spaces with an urban cultural core and historical remains, form a unique operational IP, and use it as the core to drive the project's sustainable development, promote the overall revitalization of the urban area, and achieve a win-win for the government, enterprises, and citizens, while enhancing the project's value.
